Sustainability

At Serla, we are dedicated to making quality sustainable products which are made
to last. All of our products are handcrafted by skilled artisans within our partner factories. It is our goal to ensure that behind artisanship and quality, our customers understand we are committed to implementing sustainable business practices across all areas of our business.

Leather

We understand the importance of using only the finest quality leather, which is why we are committed to responsibly sourcing the best materials to reflect the quality of our products.

We are proud that 100% of the leathers used in our current collection are from our partner tannery which holds a Gold certification rating from the Leather Working Group (LWG). LWG is the leading global auditing body for responsible leather sourcing.

This certification assures our customers that our partner tanneries have been thoroughly evaluated for compliance with environmental best practices
and all raw materials are ethically sourced. As a result, we can guarantee that the leather used in our products meets the highest standards of sustainability and social responsibility, as endorsed by the industry and consumers alike.

Cotton

All of our products are lined with 100% recycled cotton Lining. All of the thread we use on the product swing tags are 100% recycled cotton. Recycled cotton has
minimum impact on the environment and is made from existing cotton fabrics
broken down into fibres that are then made into lining. The existing cotton
fabrics come from excess textile waste from the clothing industry.

Packaging

Our Individual product packaging bags are made from maize pulp which make them 100% compostable. All of our mailing bags are 100% biodegradable. Our product swing tags are made from 100% recycled board. We use these materials to help reduce the use of single plastic items within the environment and to help us as a company achieve our goal of being plastic free.
